Rapid misfire
intricate balance between
here, and there

here, reality as you know it
where words mean what you say
and what you say is what you mean
everything     is  truth.

There, is where I go
sporadically, an unchosen battlefield,
where everything is louder,
where touching humans, is the hardest thing I'll do
where words are like that mess they make at Waffle House.

There, is where my brain has disconnected from overload,
and by trying to repair itself,
has created that jumble of mess you see in your present truth

In order to to reserve all it's strength for the ensuing mix & match mind game, it slowly hibernates any    "useless"    functions.

Unfortunately, the mind & society don't have the same perceptions
so where you want me to talk here
There I am fighting with the cook of Waffle House
to change the order from scrambled eggs, to over easy
and while you're here ready to give up on me; frustrated
I'm there screaming the syllables that cannot find their way to my vocal cords

Anger, Frustration, Shame, and Defeat mask themselves in
repetition and vestibular stimulation.
Flailing my hands like that damn goldfish that will not stop jumping out of the bowl - I embarass you

What you don't see behind the stimming, stuttering, and mass confusion of my shakiness is that I am at my peak - my intelligence and perceptions are through the roof, but you don't see that side of me

over-easy eggs,
perfectly cooked sausage,
and unburnt biscuits

anything less is retarded.

Well I'm here to teach you that my Autistic Breakfast Platter
those scrambled eggs with ketchup,
bacon instead of sausage,
and slightly burnt english muffin with Apple Butter
